Tom Chandler, son of the late J.P. and Maebelle (Tatum) Chandler was born May 29, 1931 in Bucoda, Missouri and departed this life October 1, 2018 at the age of 87 years. Tommy married Marguerite Akers January 23, 1955 in Senatobia, Mississippi. She preceded him in death on August 3, 2007.

He is survived by two children:

Diane Brockmeier and husband Bob of Chesterfield, Missouri.

Joe Chandler and wife Jana of Caruth, Missouri.

Three grandchildren: T.J. Chandler, Matthew Chandler, and Natalie Brockmeier.

One sister: Millie Ann Chailland of Senath, Missouri.

Other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Ben and John Mark Chandler and three sisters: Betty Jane Aumon, Lula Belle Baird and Mary Etta Johnson.

Tom was a member of the Caruth United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the Senath American Legion.

Memorials may be given to the Caruth Liberty Cemetery or Misty's Missions.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 pm at McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Reverend Jim Pemberton officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Byron Small, Steve Odle, Eddie Adams, Reggie Gillette, Gregg Holifield and Whitey "Don" Wallace.
