Nicholas Skelton, of Olathe, Kansas, formally of Kennett, died April 17, 2017. Nicholas was born to Metz and Rowena (Harris) Skelton January 17, 1959 in Kennett. Nicholas married Sheila Guthrie May 31, 1980, she preceded him in death January 1, 2016. Nicholas was a 1977 graduate of Kennett High School, and was elected Governor of Boys State. Nicholas was also a member of Westside Family Church.

Nicholas is survived in death by his children: Samuel Skelton and Taylor Skelton of Olathe, Kansas

His parents: Metz and Rowena Skelton of Kennett, Missouri

One brother: Christopher (Kenna) Skelton of Kennett, Missouri

Two sisters: Rena Ingram of Kennett, Missouri

Sherri Hamlett of Kennett, Missouri

Services will be 10AM Monday, April 24 in the McDaniel Chapel with Reverend Clyde Cordell and Lavone Smart officiating, burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Vitiation will be 6-9PM Sunday April 23 at the funeral home.
