James "Jim" Milton Davis, son of the late James Wesley and Pauline (Wright) Davis was born August 22, 1935 in Lake City, Arkansas and departed this life November 30, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Jim married Willie Roberts September 26, 1954. She preceded him in death on March 16, 2017.

He is survived by:

Three sons: Rodger D. Davis and wife Monica of Punkin Center, Missouri.

Richard A. Davis and wife Donna of Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Steven E. Davis and wife Emilie of Rosenburg, Texas.

One daughter: Judith A. Davis of Clarkton, Missouri.

One brother: Danny Davis of Kennett, Missouri.

Three sisters: Carol Hairston of California.

Peggy Simmons of California.

Barbara Mobley of Kennett, Missouri.

14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one son: John D. Davis, grandson: Richard Davis, Jr., three brothers: Larry, Charles and Jerry Davis and one sister: Patsy Whittle.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Steven Watkins and Reverend Randy Wiseman officiating. Burial in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
