Obituary

Wanda Haile Wilcoxson 89 , passed away April 7, 2016 at the Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was the wife of Bill Wilcoxson who preceded her in death. They were married in Piggott, Arkansas December 27, 1947. They lived most of their married life in Kennett, Missouri where Bill was affilated with and co-owner of Wilcoxson and Sons Furniture Company until his retirement.
One of 12 children, Wanda was born in Cooter, Missouri on March 20, 1927 to Virgil and Minnie Clark Haile. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Jonesboro. Formerly in Kennett, Missouri she was a charter member of Faith United Methodist Church.
She was a member of United Methodist Women and active in many social clubs. She enjoyed bowling and golf. Wanda enjoyed camping and was a member of the Wally Byam Caravan Club.
She enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Wilcoxson, her parents, siblings Paul, Woodrow, Harold, Billy Haile, Alma Barger, Helen Richardson, Mildred Black, Tesque (Tessie) Davis and Oniska Douglas. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Brooks of Jonesboro, a son, Rodd Wilcoxson (Charlotte), a grandson, Brandon Brewer (Marcy), great-grandchildren, Jayden, Braxton, Hayley Whitt (Dillion), great-great-grandchildren, Sophia and Kaiden all of Jonesboro, Arkansas, sisters, Frankie Day of West Palm Beach, Florida and Laveda Robbins of Ecru, Mississippi, many nephews, nieces, and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 1:00 PM thru 2:00 PM with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM. Services will be at the McDaniel Funeral home Chapel at the intersection of Highway 412 and Kennett Street, Kennett, Missouri with Rev. Chris Hemund officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett is in charge of the arrangements.
