Winston
Belisle
April 15, 1953 – January 2, 2025
Winston Ward BeLisle 4/15/1953 – 1/2/2025
Age: 71
Winston BeLisle passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, after a long-term battle with MS. By his side was his life-long friend, Keith Morgan.
Winston was a loyal and dedicated Boy Scout becoming an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Senath High School in 1971 and left to attend Southeast Missouri (SEMO State University). Later, he joined the U.S. Army and served proudly in Germany during the Cold War. After returning home, he served his community by publishing a local newspaper.
Winston spent his spare time forming new businesses, including a bakery, 2 laundry mats, a restaurant, computer repair, and his favorite, his printing company. When necessary, he took over the family business, providing homes for those who otherwise may not have had one. He loved cats and never met a homeless one because he housed all that needed a place. He made sure that they ate, even before he did. Winston was always willing to discuss or debate politics with anyone as long as they agreed with his views. He was spunky and had an opinion about everything. Ya.
Winston is survived by his sister, Gail Page Chaney (Robert Chaney); niece, Deborah Poston (Thomas Poston and families); niece, Catherine Speakman (Ronald Speakman, Jr. and families). He is pre-deceased by his mother, Grace Glisson; father, Glen BeLisle; and grandfather, William McFarland.
Winston's life will be celebrated at the graveside funeral in Blytheville, Arkansas at Maple Grove Cemetery Saturday, February 1, 11:00 A.M.
