Wilma Jean Butler, daughter of the late Carl James Moore and Ida Pearl Trentham Moore, was born December 31,1946, in Arbyrd, Missouri and departed this life on November 13, 2025 at the age of 78 years 10 months and 13 days.  Wilma married Glennon Butler who preceded her in death.

Survivors include:

Daughter-in-Law: Laura Knight and husband Rexie of Kennett

Two grandchildren: Dawson Butler and  Colson Knight both of Kennett

Brother: James Moore of Sikeston, MO

Sister: Katherine (Martin) Morgan of Sikeston, Mo

Other  relatives and friends

Wilma was of Kennett and a  faithful member of  the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett.

Wilma was preceded in death by her son: Christopher Butler (2/15/1980-7/16/2017) and daughter: Meranda Kay Butler preceded (in 1974), two brothers: Ivan Moore and Leon Moore and sister: Viola Tibbles.

Visitation will be 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett with Reverend Don Sheerin officiating.  Funeral Services will be at 2:30  pm at the First United Pentecostal in Kennett. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Dawson Butler, Trent Morgan, Brenden Morgan, Lannie Moore, Zach Pruett and Jon Johnson. McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
