Wilma (Ford) Blanton, daughter of the late Joseph Ford, Sr. and Lona (Pelts) Ford, was born October 11, 1934, in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on June 30, 2023, at the age of 88 years, 8 months and 19 days  Wilma married Iler Blanton, Jr., on September 22, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Wilma was owner of the Fabric Store on the square in Kennett for many years and a 1952 graduate of Senath-Hornersville High School

Wilma was preceded in death by her brothers; Joseph Ford, Jr. and Leon Ford and sister: Ethel Denny.

Wilma was of Piedmont, Mo. formerly of Kennett and passed away at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 10:45  a.m. Monday, July 3, 2023 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
