William "Red" Sam Stonecipher, Jr. son of the late William and Marie (Redman) Stonecipher, Sr. was born March 8, 1948 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and passed away March 1, 2024 at his residence in Portageville, Missouri. William married Nancy Moore July 8, 1968.

Red was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Holcomb. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by:

His wife: Nancy Stoncecipher of Portageville, Missouri.

One son: Jerrod Stonecipher (Hollie) of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

One daughter: Amy Roberts (Daniel) of Portageville.

One bother: Joe Stonecipher of Poplar Bluff.

One sister: Ollie Foster (Doug) of Branson, Missouri.

Five grandchildren: Hayden Roberts, Mollie Grace Roberts, Owen Roberts, Addison Stonecipher and Maggie Stonecipher.

A bonus grandchild: Catelynn Moore.

Other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Isabel Stonecipher.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM-2:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Richard Ross officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Hayden Roberts, Owen Roberts, Daniel Roberts, Tommy McCoin, Bud Shipman and DeWayne Hensley. Honorary pallbearers are: Harlen Loafman and Keith Todd.
