Wanda Lou Tidmore Guthrie, daughter of the late Ervin Frank Tidmore and Genettie Kathleen Hicks Tidmore, was born June 8, 1951, in Flat Rock, Alabama and departed this life on November 16, 2025, at the age of 74 years, 5 months and 8 days. Wanda married Eugene Franklin Guthrie on June 5, 1993, Eugene preceded her in death March 14, 2023.

Survivors include

Son: Labron (Sara) Anderton of Dutton, AL

Daughter: Laranda (Josh) Gattis of Kennett

Stepsons: Mark (Dawn) Guthrie of Weatherford, TX

Brett Guthrie of Kansas City, MO

Nine grandchildren and one great grandchild

Wanda was preceded in death by her step daughter: Shelia Skelton, brother: Billy Jack Tidmore and sisters: Linda Aretta, Sara Etta and Kathy Eda

Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Friday, November 21, 2025 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.  Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 pm  Friday, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Pastor Chad Howard officiating.
