Wanda Faye Moody, daughter of the late Leonard Albertson and  Nora Bella (Gabriel) Albertson, was born May 22,1938 in Shugtown, Arkansas and departed this life on December 27, 2023 at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 5 days. Wanda married Gene Moody in May of 1966, Gene preceded her in death.

Survivors include:

Two daughters; Donna (Terry) Blue of Regley, Louisiana

Teresa Gardner of Kennett, Mo.

Eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren

other relatives and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by husband Gene Moody,  her son: Craig Moody, brother: Bill Albertson, sister: Dorothy Morgan and two great grandsons

Visitation will  be 1:00 p.m.to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Third Street Baptist Church in Kennett. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Third Street Baptist Church in Kennett with Reverend Johnny Bogle officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.

Honored to serve as pallbearers: Garrett Reed, Logan Flood, Zander Owens, Trey Owens, Christopher Owens and Craig Reed, Honorary pallbearers; Chris Owens, Jesse Samples, Jr., Terry Blue, Jr., Codie Blue and Deklin Moody.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
