Wanda Irene Battles, daughter of the late Doss and Arzettie (Morgan) Lawson was born August 29, 1927 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life November 24, 2023 at her home in Gobler, Missouri at the age of 96 years. Wanda married Tollie Battles. He preceded her in death August 10, 1977.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Loretta and Bob Tomlinson of Kennett.

One brother: Dallas Lawson of New Carlisle, Indiana.

One sister: Mildred West of Memphis, Tennessee.

Five grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by a son: Gary Woodham, two brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Memorial Gardens in Kennett with Rev. J.E. Crews officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
