W.H. "Wimp" Tackeberry, son of the late Paul and Thelma (Pierce) Tackeberry was born May 5, 1930 in Octa, Missouri and departed this life October 16, 2021 at the age of 91 years. Wimp married Nora Kirk April 29, 1950. She preceded him in death January 18, 2013.

He is survived by:

His daughter: Debbie South of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

One sister: Ericia Jennings of Forney, Texas.

Two grandchildren: Julie Whittle and Jana Corwin.

Four great-grandchildren.

Other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Paul E. Tackeberry, Jr.

Mr. Tackeberry served in the United States Army and was a retired farmer.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
