Virginia Faye Cox, 89, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026. Born on April 19, 1937, 

 Faye was the youngest daughter of Minitry Shaver and Dona Elizabeth (Early) Shaver. She grew up in Manila, Arkansas alongside her five siblings: Ruth (Vernon) Foster, Milo (Hazel) Shaver, Eugenia (Bud) Bibbs, Jake (Marie) Shaver, and Ray (Anne) Shaver.

 She was first married to Tommy Price, and together they welcomed a son, Eddie Price. Tommy and Eddie both preceded her in death .Faye later married the love of her life, Daniel Cox. Their marriage was one of steadfast love and devotion, and she spent many years faithfully caring for him and sharing a life built on commitment, laughter, and loyalty. Together they created a blended family, and Faye gained Daniel’s six children and many grandchildren .Daniel also preceded her in death.

Faye was known for her strength, her determination, and a personality that could never be overlooked. She had a sharp sense of humor, a generous heart, and a way of making an impression on everyone she met. She loved deeply, remained fiercely loyal to those she cared about, and lived life with honesty and conviction.

 She is survived by her loving family, including her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by her. Faye’s greatest legacy is the love she gave, the family she helped build, and the memories she leaves behind. She will be remembered with love, missed beyond words, and carried forever in the hearts of those who knew her.

Graveside Service will be Friday, July 03, 9:00 AM at the Manila Cemetery in Manila, Arkansas  with Mr. Jason Cox officiating.  Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery.

The visitation will be Thursday beginning at 6:00 and continue until 7:00 at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Senath will be in charge of the arrangements.
