Vernell Deck, daughter of the late  Willard Hampton and Verble (Dubar) Treacy was born September 23, 1936,  in  Senath, Missouri and departed this life on June 23, 2026 at the age of 89 years. 

Vernell was a devoted  mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a cherished friend to many. She served her community through her work, Lord and his word.

She is survived by her daughter: Terry King of Kennett, MO., son: Tim Deck of Memphis, TN. four grandchildren: David Felker, Leah Henfling, Zachary King and Hampton Deck. 

Vernell was preceded in death by her husband: Teddy Deck whom she was married to for 52 years.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, June  25, 2026 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Reverend Johnny Bogle officiating.

Family request that you wear comfortable cool clothing, due to the heat.
