Tommie Lee Tidwell, daughter of the late Truman Ziegenhorn and Ruby (Ridings) Ziegenhorn was born May 18, 1938 in Hamilton, Alabama and departed this life on July 1, 2021 at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 13 days. Tommie married Joe Tidwell on March 25, 1954. Joe and Tommie celebrated 67 years together.

Her husband: Joe Tidwell of Bragg City, Missouri

One daughter: Cathy (Randy) Bradford of Bragg City, Missouri

One Son: Michael (Tammy) Tidwell of Bragg City, Missouri

Four grandchildren: Jason Bradford of Bragg City, Missouri

Justin (Sherri) Bradford of Covington, Tennessee

Jeremy (Falon Taylor) Tidwell of Kennett, Missouri

Brittney (Dustin) Dormer of Kennett, Missouri

Nine great grandchildren: Cole, Luke, Maci and Cash Bradford, Parker Rhew, Layne and Aubrey Dormer, Mason Hubbard and Hudson Tidwell. To arrive this summer: Layton Dormer and Dawson Tidwell.

One sister: LaMearl (Ken) Reed of Independence, Missouri

Favorite aunt: Bonnie Karr of Hamilton, Alabama

Special great-great niece: Shauna Cunningham of Kennett, Missouri

Other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Tommie was preceded in death by three brothers: Paul Ziegenhorn, Dale Franks and Steve Franks.

Tommie was of Bragg City, Missouri and passed away July 1, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Tommie was a member of Deering United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, July 5, 2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, July 5, 2021 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Frank Husted officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Jason Bradford, Justin Bradford, Jeremy Tidwell, Dustin Dormer, Cole Bradford and Parker Rhew. Honorary pallbearers: Cash Bradford, Luke Bradford, Mason Hubbard, Layne Dormer and Hudson Tidwell.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital or Delta Children's Home.
