Timothy James Purl, son of the late Robert and Glenda Vernon Purl was born May 25, 1964, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and passed away May 26, 2026 at the Baptist Hospital in Paragould, Arkansas at the age of 62 years.

He married Pamela Ellen Blackwell December 26, 2003 in Senath.

Mother and Father-in-law: Teresa and James Blackwell of Senath

One brother: Mark  (Hannah) Bryam

One sister: Patty Finley  (Alan)

Sisters-in-law: Raynell (Cody) Pruitt and Leah (Kenny) Thompson

Two granddaughters: Maggie and Marigold

Tim was a dedicated truck driver as he drove across the world all of his life.  You could always find Tim either tinkering out in the shop working on his race cars, helping others work on their race cars, or working on semis.  He also loved  spending time on his Friday and Saturday nights at the local dirt tracks, either racing himself, or helping friends that were more like family.  He was a family man who loved with all he had and enjoyed making memories.  He was the man that would give everything to help someone in need.  In his later years, he became a Grampy, and that little girl became his world.  He would spend his days loving her, playing with her and feeding her one too many Oatmeal pies.  To some people he was a friend, to others he was a brother, a son, a Dad, a husband, and Grampy.  He was someone you could call anytime, day or night, and could count on him to be there if you needed him. 

His funeral will be Saturday, May 30, 2:00 PM at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Rev. Alan Austin and Pastor Keith Floyd officiating. Burial will be in the Lulu Cemetery.  The visitation will begin at 12:00 and continue until service time at 2:00 PM.
