Sonny Jackson, son of the late Carlos and Juanita Deck Jackson, was born July 05, 1953, in Kennett, Missouri and passed away September 22, 2022 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 69 years.

He married Pam Tinkle January 21, 1972, in Kennett, Missouri

Sonny was a graduate of Senath-Hornersville class of 1971. He was the owner of Sonny Jackson Trucking Company.

He was dearly loved by his grandchildren who called him Papa Sonny.

Two sons:  Chris (Cindy) Jackson of Senath, MO

Matt (Brooke) Jackson of Senath, MO

One brother: Scottie (Lilah) Jackson of Senath, MO

Brother-in-law:  Donnie Smith of Rolla, MO

Two granddaughters:  Cally Jackson and Mollie Jo Jackson

He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a  sister, Glenda Gail Smith, and a niece, Jill  Smith.

The visitation will begin at 11:00 Saturday, September 24, and continue until service time at 12:00 P.M.

The funeral will be Saturday, September  24, 12:00 noon at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Rev. Doug Clinton and Rev. Chris Hicks officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

Honored to serve as pallbearers:  Brad Jackson, Dustin Jackson, Daniel Jackson, Stephen Tinkle, Jr., Carter Key, Jake McKuin and Jason Smith.

Honorary pallbearers:  Steve Tinkle, Don Tinkle, Dennis Crim, Tommy McMahon, Whitey Wallace, Richie Lancaster and Todd Fouts.

Memorials may be made to the Senath-Hornersville FFA Livestock Team.
