Skylar Dalton Hopkins, son of David Hopkins and Shawna (Moyers) Lemons was born September 20, 1993 in Hayti, Missouri and departed this life on January 4, 2022 at the age of 28 years, 3 months and 15 days.

Finace': Mabel Sowell

Brothers: Dillon Johnson of Medina, Tennessee

Roy Wayne Leasure of Caruthersville, Missouri

Christopher Hopkins of Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Khyeem Hopkins of Kennett, Missouri

Sisters: Beatrice Jackson, Sara Taylor and Autumn Joyner all of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Kimbrya Hopkins and Davida Hopkins both of Chicago, Illinois

Other relatives and many friends.

Skyler was preceded in death by two brothers: David Hopkins II and Cameron Hopkins.

Skylar was a star football player for Kennett and Obion County. Skylar had a personality bigger than faith, a protector of all he came in contact with and a Big Nerd at heart.

A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Jerry (Pugs) Carnett officiating.

Family is requesting that everyone wear yellow to the service.
