Shirley Florine Alley, daughter of the late H.B. Rooney and Zillah (Gardner) Rooney was born September 21, 1946 in Guy, Arkansas and departed this life on February 1, 2021 at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 11 days. Shirley married Troy Wayne Alley on February 3, 1966 in Caruth, Missouri.

One Son: Terry (Jennifer) Alley of Caruthersville, Missouri

One daughter: Christy (Matt) Roper of Caruth, Missouri

Four grandchildren: Blake (Felicia) Swindle of Kennett, Missouri,

Emily Swindle of Senath, Missouri

Kaleb and Candace Alley of Caruthersville, Missouri

Three great grandchildren: Jax, Waylon and Scarlett Swindle of Kennett, Missouri

Two sisters: Debbie (Royce) Allen of Kennett, Missouri

Bertha Blanchard of Maryland Heights, Missouri

One brother: Tommy Rooney of Piggott, Arkansas

Many nieces and nephews

Shirley was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law: Johnny and Irma Lee Rooney

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially the grandbabies.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Doug Clinton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Carl McDaniel, D.J.Witaker, Nate Dunivan, Christian Blankinship, Butch Tucker and Perry Aluer. Honorary Pallbearers: Benny Childres and Steve Westmorland.
