Sherry Jean Buys, daughter of the late Bill Chatham and Mary Helen (Stanley) Chatham, was born February 2, 1951, in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on November 25, 2024, at the age of 73 years, 9 months and 20 days.

Sherry was a resident of Pearland, Texas, formerly of Kennett,  where she was employed at Conroe Medical Center Nicu unit ICU for 40 years.

Survivors include:

Son: Brandon (Donna) Buys of Paragould, Ar.

Two brothers: David Chatham of Kennett, Mo

Mark (Rhonda) Chatham of Pearland, Tx

Two grandchildren: Chris and  (Kristen) Buys of Clarksville, Tn.

Haley Buys of Paragould, Ar.

Great grandchild: Daya Marquez of Paragould, Ar.

Four Nieces: Brittney (Dustin) Dexter, Morgan (Jordan) Bunch, Sara Chatham, Tara (Marty) Ohmann

Other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be 11:00 am to 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 4,2024 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon Wednesday at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Reverend Ron Wilcoxson officiating.  Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
