Sherry Ann Ary, born Sherry Ann Long, peacefully passed away on May 21, 2024, at the
age of 73 in Porter, Texas. She was born on July 29, 1950, to the late Virgil Ralph and
Dorothy Mae Long in Dermott, Arkansas.
Sherry grew up in Senath, Missouri attending Lulu Baptist Church. She was baptized at
Prairie Garden Baptist Church.
Sherry's career as a nurse began in 1987 in Spring, Texas, where she dedicated her life to
caring for others. Her compassion and kindness touched the lives of many, and she will
be remembered for her selfless service to those in need.
Sherry is survived by her beloved daughters Tracy (Bill) Boyles, and Stephanie McGrew,
her adored grandchildren Morgan Boyles, Tyler Boyles, and Olivia Lagowski, and her
siblings Sheila Mitchell, Kathy Reagan (Late Ronald), and Barry (Susan) Long. She is
preceded in death by her father Virgil Long, brother David Long, and her brother-in-law
Ronald Reagan. Her mother, Dorothy Long, passed away on June 12, 2024.
Sherry's legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts and minds of
those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her compassion, integrity and
devotion to her family will be forever cherished.
We will gather for a graveside service to celebrate a life rich in love, family, and friends
on July 20, 2024,11:00 AM at Lulu Cemetery in Senath, Missouri.
