Shelby Jean Moore, daughter of the late William Roy and Exell Grissom Higgins, was born April 07, 1941, in Kennett, Missouri and passed away August 21, 2025 at the Heritage Nursing Home in Kennett, Missouri at the age of 84 years.

She was married to Darrell Vaughn.  He preceded her in death.

Survivors include:

One son:  Darrell Vaughn, Jr. (Pam) of Senath, MO

Two sisters: Brenda of Holcomb, MO

Regena of Michigan

One brother:  George Higgins of Piggott, Arkansas

5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Roy and Exell  Higgins, one son, Michael Higgins,  four brothers, Larry, Earl, Lynn, and  Jimmy Higgins.

Her funeral will be Sunday, August 24, 2:00 P.M. at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Rev. Terry Vaughn officiating.  Burial will follow in the Senath Cemetery.

The visitation will begin at 12:00 and continue until service time at 2:00.
