Sharon Kay Carter, daughter of the late Truman Harmon and Virginia (Wilhite)  Harmon  was born September 3,1950 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on July 6,2018 at the age of 67 years. Sharon married Jerry Carter, Sr. on December 28, 1968 in Qulin, Missouri.

Survivors include:

Two sons: Jerry O'Dell Carter, Jr. of Fisk, Missouri

Travis (Ashley) Carter of Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Two daughters: Angela June (John) Kassing of Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Sherri Kay Joiner of Fisk, Missouri

Five grandchildren: Truman Aldridge, Sarah Joiner, Emily Joiner, Zachary Joiner and Emersyn Carter.

One brother: Gary Truman Harmon of Kennett, Missouri

Three sisters: Shirley Gene Jackson of Kennett, Missouri

Reva Ann Todd of Gibson, Missouri

Carol Ann Harmon of Kennett, MIssouri

Other relatives and many friends.

Sharon was of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and passed away July 6, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri

Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Burial will follow in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri

Memorials may be made to Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri
