Sandra Kay "Sandy" Snider Burke of Kennett, Mo. was born on December 22, 1954, in Walnut Ridge, AR to Thurman Snider and Laverne Box Snider.

Sandy married her husband Ronnie Burke, in 2001, and together they shared many years of life and family.

Sandy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she had a caring heart and spent much of her life taking care of others, she worked in health care for many years and was employed at South Haven Residential care until she was no longer able to work.

Music was a very special part of Sandy's life, she loved to sing and spent many years singing in a band with her father. She also loved to dance, and anyone who knew Sandy knew she could truly tear up a dance floor. Her love for music, dancing, family, and caring for others will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Sandy is survived by her husband: Ronnie Burke

Seven children: Norma Carr of South Haven, Michigan, Barbara Haggard Garfias of Cardwell, Mo., Chris Haggard of Senath Mo., Kenny Haggard of Kennett, Mo., Brian Burke, and Robin Burke.

Two sisters: Gretta and Kathy

Six Brothers: David, William, Bobby, Mike, Theo, and Jimmy

Thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father Thurman Snider, her mother Lavern Snider, her son Robert Haggard and her granddaughter Jamie Carr.

Sandy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her kindness, her caring nature, her love for family and the joy she brought to others through her singing, dancing, and generous spirit.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm at the McDaniel Chapel of Kennett and the burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
