Samuel Eugene Massey, son of the late Phillip and Salona (Garner) Massey was born April 20, 1936 in Silverdale, Missouri and departed this life October 19, 2018 at NHC in Kennett, Missouri. Sam married Jo Ann  O'Dell on April 16, 1992 in Senath.

He is survived by:

His wife: Jo Ann Massey of Hollywood, Missouri.

Three sons: Tony Cogburn and wife Ann of Piggott, Ar.

Donald Cogburn and wife Jody of Hornersville, MO.

Son-in-law: Allen Tanner of Kennett, MO.

Three daughters: Angel Cogburn and  Jason Holbert of Foley, MO.

Kristina Newman and husband Paul of St. Roberts, MO.

Rebecca Johnson and husband Bill of Senath, Missouri.

Seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by two daughters: Tammy Massey and Mitzi Tanner.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Mcdaniel Chapel in Senath with Reverend Denny Brown officiating. Burial in the Lulu Cemetery near Senath.
