R.W. McLain, son of the late Howard Clifton McLain and Mary Jane (Bowling) McLain was born November 20, 1930 in Senath, Missouri and departed this life on June 24, 2021 at the age of 90 years, 7 months and 4 days. R.W. married Joyce Duke June 4, 1953 in Paragould, Arkansas. Joyce preceded him in death. Later R.W. married Peggy Hooper who preceded him in death.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Nancy (Mike) Todd of Senath, Missouri

Two grandchildren: Shannon Todd and Beth Stasey

Two great-grandchildren: Christian Todd and Carson Todd

Sister: Jo Ann Thompson of Granite Shoals, Texas

Other relatives and many many friends.

R.W. was preceded in death by his brother: Joe Earl McLain.

R.W. was of Kennett, Missouri formerly of Senath, Missouri, having served his country in the United States Army. R.W. was a member of First Baptist Church in Senath, Missouri.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Chris Hicks officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Mike Todd, Shannon Todd, Christian Todd, Carson Todd, Chris Stasey and Berry Kirby.
