Ruth Lynn, daughter of the late Vernie and Freda (Stokes) Deniston, was born April 21, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan departed this life December 10, 2021 at the age of 90 years 7 months and 19 days. Ruth married James Allen Lynn. He preceded her in death November 20, 1997.

She is survived by:

Ginny (Allen) Smith of Kennett, Missouri.

Mary Beth (Brad) Carter of Kennett

Four Grandchildren Jodi Watson, Stacy Agree, Abby Masner and Kelly Carter

Nine Great Grandchildren

Ruth was preceded by two sisters Mary Deniston Reid and Marth Deniston Crow Pruett

Ruth was a member of Friendship Baptist Church from 1955-1997, then later moved her membership to First Baptist Church of Kennett.

Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 PM Sunday, December 12, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Kennett. Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, December 12, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Kennett with Reverend Steven Scherer officiating. Private family burial will be at Mary's Chapel Cemetery in Rector.
