Ruth Marcella Bibbs Greer, daughter of the late Burl Bibbs and Hazel Levins Bibbs, was born on January 21, 1932 in Coldwater and departed this life May 24, 2025, at the age of 93 years, 4 months and 3 days, at her residence in Hornersville, Missouri. Ruth was married to Billie Greer on August 14, 1954. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2021.

Survivors include:

2 Sons:  Steve (Ginfer) Greer of Hornersville

Charles Stacey (Merrisa) Greer of Hornersville

2 Daughters:  Terry (Tom) Emerson of Brighton, Tennessee

Melissa (Troy) Milburn of Atoka, Tennessee

4 Grandchildren: Troy Milburn, Jr., Keith Milburn, John Emerson and Abigail Carrier

5 Great-grandchildren

Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Greer, her parents, 5 brothers:  Ronald, Harold, Leland, Lindell and Dallas Bibbs, and 2 granddaughters:  Jessica and Natalie Emerson.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Johnny Bogle officiating.  Burial will be in Horner Cemetery in Hornersville. Honored to serve as pallbearers are:  Troy Lee Milburn, John Emerson, Keith Milburn, Matt Bibbs, Chandler Goff and Austin Huber.
