Rudy Herman Wilson, son of the late Herman T. Wilson and Emma Lee (Thomas) Wilson, was born June 14, 1949, in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on February 29, 2024 at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 15 days.

Rudy served his country in the United States Marines being a Vietnam Veteran and was a restaurant owner. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Holcomb and AMVETS.

Survivors include:

Brother: Dennis Wilson of Kennett, Mo

Two sisters: Joanie Dodson of Kennett

Barbara Donner of Kennett

Many beloved nieces and nephews

Rudy was preceded in death by two brothers: Dempsey Wilson and Vernon Wilson and four sisters: Faye Jaques, Lucille Woodard, Virginia Wilson and Faye Wilson.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, in the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Steve Patton officiating. Burial will follow in McGrew Cemetery in Senath, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Carl Wilson, Joey Wilson, Greg Wilson, Tim Dodson, John Patton and Phil Ford.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
