Obituary

Ronnie Miner, son of the late James and Frances Williamson Miner, was born March 12, 1942, in Arbyrd, Missouri and passed away at his residence in Cardwell, Missouri  August 16, 2023, at the age of 81 years.

For those of you who know Ronnie, he was also known as Captain Ron.  His wish was to be cremated and not have any services after his death.  He was adamant that his remains, after cremation, were  to be sprinkled into the Mississippi River, where he spent much of his life and loved the "Mighty Mississippi"

Ronnie J. Miner grew up in the Arbyrd area and joined the United States Army at a young age and became an Army Paratrooper. He spent most of his adult life on the Mississippi River and attained the rank of Captain before retiring. Ronnie loved the Mississippi River and had every bend and turn etched in his memory.  Ronnie loved all animals, but his favorite was his dogs and horses he had over the years..

Survivors include:

Three brothers:

Kenny (Charla) Foresythe of Mountain Grove, MO

Bub (Terri) Foresythe of Paragould, AR

Gary Foresythe of Las Vegas, NV.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother Larry Miner, and five sisters, Jimmy Ruth Miner, Pat Miner, Doris Miner, Jerry Cowgill and Martha Miner.

McDaniel Funeral and Cremation Service of Senath will be in charge of the arrangements.
