Robert Eugene Leverington, Sr. son of the late Glenard Leverington and Irene Pinnell Leverington, was born December 26, 1942, in Broken Bow, Nebraska and departed this life on February 2, 2026, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO, at the age of 83 years.

Robert married Evia Burkey on May 27, 1962 in Lexington, Nebraska

Ten grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and one great great grand

Robert was preceded in death by  three brothers: Orval, William and Larry and two sisters: Lillian and Marjorie

Visitation will be 11:00 am to 12:00 noon Thursday, February 5, 2026 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Pastor Don Sheerin officiating.  Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Gary Blasingim III, Joe Gormar, They Dean, Bobby Davis, Cody Fry and Naomi  Blasingim.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangments.
