Ristel  Dee Payne, son of the late Tommy "Pete" Payne and Billie Jean (Gibson) Payne, was born October 16, 1950 in Steele, Missouri and departed this life on February 16, 2024 at the age of 73 years and 4 months. Ristel married Gail Sue Abmeyer on June 14, 1972. Gail preceded him in death April 2, 2015. Ristel was of Rector, Arkansas and passed away at National Health Care in Kennett.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Mr. Tommy Payne officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
