Rickey
Mccasland
August 22, 1953 – September 22, 2025
Rickey Lee McCasland, lovingly known as "Rick" and "Bandit," of Kennett, MO, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 72.
Rick spent most of his life as a dedicated truck driver and found joy in the open road. When he wasn't working, his greatest passion was drag racing and tinkering with cars. He was well known for his love of telling stories, cutting up, and pestering just enough to get a laugh. With a smile always on his face and laughter close behind, Rick never met a stranger and left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Flora and Lester Foresythe and Eb McCasland; and his brothers, Dennis and Donald McCasland.
Rick is survived by his daughters, Heather Tansil (Byron) of Paragould, AR, and Misty Reisenbichler (Elias) of Arbyrd, MO; grandchildren, Christian Wimberley, Nathaniel Ward, Kirsten Evett, Landon Melton, Jordan Melton, Lauren Rebstock, Sarah Moncada, ShaeLyn Robertson, and Alyssa Yates; his siblings, Terrie Nunnery, Donna Parker, and Maggie Duffel; as well as many beloved great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember Rick's laughter, stories, and the joy he brought to so many.
In lieu of flowers his daughters request donations be made to Kennett National Trust account in Rick's name to assist with expenses.
