Alton Rayburn "Ray" Ivy age 76 of Senath, Missouri formerly of Kenosha, Wisconsin earned his wings at his home on October 7, 2023.
Born April 7, 1947 in Medon, Tennessee, he is son of the late Elbert Ivy and Elizabeth Beatrice Prescott. He is preceded in death by one son Alton R. Ivy, Jr., one brother Paul Ivey (Valerie) of Kenosha, WI, sisters Judy Peterson (Mike) of Camp Douglas, WI and infant Valinda Prescott.
Survived by the love of his life of 58 years Raenell Richey Ivy of Senath, MO.
Daughter: Ronda Ivy Allen (Gary and grandson Cameron) of White Hall, MD.
Daughter: Ranae Ivy Hicks, Jose (CPR) Olivero, Grandson Michael Crouch, great grandsons Zachary Andrew Link and Jackson Tyler Crouch. Granddaughter Kristin Wallace, great granddaughters Chloe Ranae and Aeryn Rayne Wallace of Hazel Green and Madison, AL.
Adopted grandson Andrew (Coleslaw) Cole of PA.

A plethora of nieces, nephews, other family and friends who love him beyond measure.
Ray is a US Veteran, having served in the United States Army and Army National Guard for over 18 years. He is a Vietnam Veteran and Veteran of both Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom.
He served as the Commander of the American Legion Barnes Casinger Montgomery Post 303 in Senath, MO.
Ray served in the US Army from 1966-1972. He then joined the Army National Guard 1221st Transportation Unit out of Dexter, MO. and there he served as Staff Sergeant. He was deployed to Iraq and served with many others during the Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom campaigns. He retired from the National Guard in 1992. He volunteered for many years making Senath a place that not only he loved but a place for everyone to love. He was a member of the City Council in Senath for 20+ years, he served as a member of the Salem Township for many years, and was a Police Officer for the City of Senath for a few years. Ray made sure "Old Glory" always flew proudly at the entrance of Senath.
Ray was a God-fearing man who loved the Lord and his Family with all his being and loved his Country just as much. He was known to be quite a character. He found humor in everyday things and loved to make people laugh.
You could always find just the right amount of Faith, Strength, Encouragement and Laughter to brighten your day with the words "Hello out the in Humpday Ray Day Land".
