Ralph Blanton, son of the late James "Dobbin"  Blanton and Imogene (Moore) Blanton, was born March 20, 1948 on Ten Mile Island north of  Kennett, Missouri and departed this life October 24, 2022 at the age of 74 years. James married Glenda Wills September 10, 1983. She preceded him in death August 3, 2009.

He is survived by:

Two sons: Michael (Faye) Blanton of Conway, Arkansas.

Tony (Teresa) Burdin of Carterville, Illinois.

One sister: Beverly Harris of Campbell, Missouri.

A very special cousin: Pat Grimes of Swartzcreek, Michigan.

Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Thursday, October 27, 2022 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, October 28, 2022 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Gary Burdin officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Doug Drawbaugh, Matt Jackson, Jason Vaulner, Phillip Hayes, Ed Delisle and Tommy Cook.
