Phyllis Claire (Swindle) Jackson, daughter of the late R.K. Swindle and Katherine (Schell) Swindle, was born November 5, 1934 in Senath, Missouri and departed this life on December 8, 2023 at the age of 89 years, 1 month and 3 days.

Phyllis was employed at Senath Hornersville High School  for many years as their bookkeeper. Phyllis was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Senath where she played the piano. Phyllis was also a member to the Senath Lions Club and she loved playing bridge.

Jeff (Patty) Jackson of Richmond, Va

Daughter: Lisa (Paul) Simon of Houston, Tx

Brother: Larry (Nancy) Swindle of Columbia, Mo

Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren

Phyllis was preceded in death by her son: Doug Jackson and daughter: Laura Keathly.

Visitation will be 12:30 pm to 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church in Senath. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, at the First United Methodist Church in Senath. Reverend Jim Pemberton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
