Penny Leigh Simmons, daughter of the late Harold Glen Warf and Blanche (Grubb) Martin, was born September 23, 1960 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life January 28, 2021 at the age of 60 years.

Penny married John Ricky Simmons June 22, 1979 in Kennett, Missouri.

She is survived by:

Her husband: John Ricky Simmons of Bragg City, Missouri.

One son: Jonathan (Patience)Simmons of Hornersville, Missouri.

Two daughters: Jennifer (Matt) Sawyer of Senath, Missouri.

Jamie (Aaron) Morrison of Kennett.

Six grandchildren: Caleb & Cade Sawyer, Jack & Mylie Morrison and Sophia & John Ross Simmons.

Three sisters: Rita (James) Tinnin of Hornersville, Missouri

Tammy Hart of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Barbie (Byron) Wilkins of Paragould, Arkansas.

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Penny was a 1978 graduate of Senath-Hornersville Schools.

Visitation will be 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Senath with Rev. Doug Clinton and Rev. Chris Hicks officiating. Burial in Lulu Cemetery in Senath. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Jonathan Simmons, Josh Tinnin, Cory Wilkins, Aaron Wilkins, Matt Sawyer and Aaron Morrison.
