Pauline "Polly" Howell went home to be with her Lord and receive her heavenly reward on July 30, 2017. She was born November 17, 1926 in Gideon, Missouri to parents William Charles Macom and Doshia Gibson Macom. She was raised in Gideon, Missouri. She met the love of her life Ken Howell at the Remington Rand Company in St. Louis, Missouri. They married and moved to Springfield, Missouri.
Polly was an active member of Cornerstone Church in Springfield under the leadership of Pastor Jess Gibson. She enjoyed serving as greeter and her warm friendly smile was a welcome sight to everyone she came in contact. She hosted many gatherings for fellow Christians and loved serving the Lord.
After her husband's passing in Springfield, Missouri she moved to Homestead, Florida to live near her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Harold Moore. She was a member of Prophetic Revival Center in Homestead where her daughter and son-in-law are pastors. She was loved and respected by all of the members there and a blessing to all. She imparted much wisdom and knowledge. She was a strong Christian and remained faithful and committed to her Lord until the very end. Her faith was evident to all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra (Harold) Moore of Homestead, Florida
Many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ken Howell, brothers: Leo Macom, Guy Macom, Walter Macom, Raymond Macom, W.C. Macom and sisters Nancy Ford, Thelma Middleton, Gladys Ford, Monzellel Mumma and Lemma Smotherman.
Visitation will be at 1:00 PM August 7, 2017, Funeral Services will be at 2PM in the Chapel of McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, MO with Pastor Harold Moore officiating. Burial will be at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, MO
McDaniel Funeral of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
