Wilder
October 3, 1943 – July 13, 2023
Paula was born October 3,1943, in Missouri, to the late William Paul Hill and Mary Lou (Jarrett) Hill. In 1985 Paula married Charles John Wilder, Sr., he preceded her in death in 2021.
Paula is survived by five daughters: Jana Sirois (Rocky) of Aiken, South Carolina; Joni Boone (Larry) of Kennett, Missouri; Leah Wilder of Phoenix, Arizona; Teresa Westbrook (Kent) of Dallas Texas and Robyn McCulley (Terry) of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri; Two sons: David Robins of St. Louis, Missouri and Charles John Wilder Jr. (Susan) of Dallas, Texas.
Paula leaves eighteen adoring grandchildren; Douglas Anderson, Trae Anderson, Katlynne Lightburne, Rachel Skyes, Macy Earnheart, Jordon, Slayton, Sophie and Jack Boone, Jag Beveridge, Channing Nuyen, Dakota Beveridge, Misty Juola, Allison Cook, John Wilder III, Adam Wilder, Jessica Laney and Mitchell McCulley.
Paula leaves twenty great grandchildren: Aubree, Adalynn and Cooper Lightburne, Jade and Eli Skyes, Kolby, Presley and Josie Boone, Abigail, Caroline, Emma and Samuel Cook, Jayden, Bennett and Laney McCulley and Isabella Wilder, James Nuyen, Cole Witheringten, Winnie Laney and Gracyn Earnheart.
Nieces: Tonya Lee Hill and Carla Jo Byrd; great nieces: Charla Morris and Katy Grimes
Paula was preceded in death by her son Jimmy Robins, daughter Lisa Wilder and brother James Hill.
Paula was an avid gardener who enjoyed working in her yard and garden with John, her loving husband of 37 years. Their yard has always been admired by all.
She enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren. She provided a warm loving lap to hop up on, continuous popsicles and a comforting and safe place where the word "no" was never allowed.
She will be deeply missed by her family and her many very special lifelong friends including her "Bank Girls" who would often drop by or meet to enjoy a glass of wine.
Services will be private for the family.
There will be a visitation 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the First Presbyterian Church in Kennett.
In lieu of flowers family is requesting that donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church P.O. Box 544 Kennett, MO.
McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
