Patsy Srum Obituary
Patsy Lou Srum, 85, of Hot Springs Village, AR passed away at CHI St. Vincent Hospital, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Patsy was a member of Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village. Patsy was born July 25, 1940, to Herman and Ludean Clark in Cardwell, Missouri. She married Donald Srum on April 9, 1955, in Hernando, MS.
Patsy completed her Bachelor of Science in Education degree at Arkansas State University in 1965. She served as an elementary and middle school teacher in Missouri and Illinois for 11 years. She left teaching to serve as an office manager of our family-owned produce company founded by her husband, Donald Srum, in downtown Chicago, IL until her retirement in 2006.
Patsy engaged in her church through serving in the choir and assisting with children through the AWANA program. Her faith was strong throughout her life. Her faith and family were always her number one priority. She was loved by her friends and family. She was always of great character and a loving compassionate person… a godly woman.
Patsy is preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, and sister, Karen Vickery (Jim). She is survived by her three children, all living in Hot Spring Village, AR; one son, Rick Srum; and two daughters, Robin Lowing and Donna Marshall; two brothers, Gaylon Clark (Charlotte) of Hot Springs Village, AR and Dennis Clark (Debbie) of College Grove, TN; one sister, Jean Shrum of Kennett, MO; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 2, 2026, 11:00 AM, at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Mr. Jim Mauldin officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in Kennett, MO.
The visitation will begin at 10:00 and continue until service time at 11:00.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers: Rick Srum, Daniel Lowing, Craig Lowing, Larry Shrum, Randy Conardy, and Dennis Clark.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
