Obituary

Patricia Gale Mount, daughter of the late Robert W. and Beulah (Carter) Lowe, was born January 4, 1940, and departed this life on June 4, 2022 at the age of 82 years.

Patricia married Melvin "Wimp" Mount on October 3, 1959. They were married for 63 years.

She is survived by her husband: Melvin "Wimp" Mount of Kennett, Missouri

Two daughters: Jacqueline (Robert) Mogy of Paragould, Arkansas

Cheryl Ann (Ronnie) Lawson of Kennett, Missouri

Four grandchildren: Jessica Reed, Christina Dewrock (Gerald) Kuykendall, Ciara (Zane) Marrow, Chelsea (Caleb) Jones and Brittany (Mogy) Halliburton

Two step-grandchildren: Matthew (Jennifer) Bowman and Nicole (Josh) Luttrull

Great-grandchildren: Jenna Reed, Cadden Dewrock, Zeke Dewrock, J C Kuykendall, Caine Marrow, Caysen Marrow, Isabella Taylor, Chloee and Eli Luttrull, Brayson (Marrow) Imler; Step-great-grandchildren: Matt Bowman, Makenzy Bowman and Mika Bowman.

Surviving siblings: Ann Crawford of Rector, Arkansas,  Linda (Paul) McKinny of Gages Lake, Illinois, Charles (Joan) Lowe of Malden, Missouri, Helen Brough of Austin, Texas,  Kathy (Bobby) Bost of Paragould, Arkansas and Gwen Lowe of Austin, Arkansas.

She has many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Very special friends: Terry and Phyllis Lowe of Kennett, Missouri and Lavelle and Fred Neal. Many new friends made during Hospice Care while working for VNA. Many great neighbors throughout her life. She was always so proud to be known as a hardworking Registered Nurse caring for others.

Patricia had two infant siblings, Dorothy and Bobby Lowe who passed before she was born, thereby becoming the oldest of such a large family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Beulah Lowe; a brother: Jerry Lowe; and one sister: Teresa Lowe.

Patricia  attended Senath-Hornersville School. She was a member of the Kennett Eagles Club and held many offices throughout many years and was a member of the Kennett Country Club. She farmed while growing up at Lowe Farms. She loved her family, flowers, and her babies (Yorkies);  Samson survives. She was always helping the Humane Society here in Kennett.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, with Reverend Harold Dunbar officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers:  Freddie Greenway, John Robertson, Howard Burton, Jackie Chailland, Terry Lowe and Rick Gurley.  Burial will follow in McCullough Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri
