Pastor Stuart Squires, son of the late Theodore and Florence (Nabinger) Squires was born April 17, 1933 in Winsor, New York and departed this life March 28, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Stuart married Carol Bernice Osborne October 24, 1953 in New York. She preceded him in death May 11, 2011.

He is survived by:

Five sons: James(Patricia) Squires of Kennett, Missouri.

Timothy (Bambi) Squires of Atlanta, Georgia.

Andrew (Sonia) Squires of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Jonathan (Monica) Squires of Minot, North Dakota.

David (Charlotte) Squires of Hamilton, Alabama.

Three daughters: Ruth (Kevin) Albrecht of Houston, Texas.

Rebecca (Robert) Spurlock of Kentucky.

Deborah (Denny) Vowell of Paragould, Arkansas.

One brother-in-law: Henry Flora

Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one son: Mark Squires and one sister: Lois Flora

Mr. Squires served in the United States Army during the Korean War and served as pastor of the Church of God in Kennett for many years.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM Monday, April 2, 2018 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 2, 2018 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Bishop Tommy Powell officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Pallbearers will be Adam Squires, Mark Squires, Matthew Squires, Daniel Squires, Terry Davis and James Lowry.
