Parker Delano Worrell, son of the late Ras N. Worrell  and Lois (Jones) Worrell, was born February 17, 1936, in Holland, Missouri and departed this life on October 7, 2023, at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 20 days. On July 17, 1957 in Hernando, Mississippi, Parker married Dorothy Ruth  Patterson. Dorothy preceded him in death on August 14, 2005.

Parker was a farmer in the Rives  Community and was a member of Samford Church of Christ.

Survivors include:

Two sons: Steve (Karen) Worrell of Steele

Stuart (Jill)  Worrell of Rives

Daughter: Tina (Bobby) Davis of Kennett

Seven grandchildren: Lauren (Jason)  House of Rives, Zach (Stephanie) Worrell of Paragould, Molly (Christopher) Pritchard of Steele, Natalie (Christopher) Butler of Paragould, Hannah Worrell of Nashville, Tn  Abby Worrell of Richmond, Ky. and Macey Worrell of Nashville.

Six great grandchildren: Thaxton  and Beckett House, Parker Worrell and Ada Worrell, Ellajae and Crosston  Pritchard.

Other relatives and many friends.

Parker was preceded in death by his brother: Clay Worrell and cousins raised as brothers: Kenneth and Charles Ellis and sister: Joan Stegall

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.  Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. at the McDaniel Chapel. Tim Howard officiating.
