Opal Louise Rudd, daughter of the late Charles Hopkins and Mary Elizabeth (Poe) Hopkins, was born October 1, 1942 in Shugtown, Arkansas and departed this life on March 28, 2022 at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 27 days. Opal married Mairl Rudd who preceded her in death.

Two sons: Amos Rudd of Kennett, Missouri

Charles Rudd of Kennett, Missouri

Three daughters: Mary Brotherton of Kennett, Missouri

Ozie Rudd of Kennett, Missouri

Anna Brotherton of Kennett, Missouri

Six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren

Niece: Angel Crawford

Opal was preceded in death by her daughter: Cora Rudd, two brothers: William "Candy" Hopkins and Bob Hopkins and two sisters: Betty Ellison and Anna Ellis and great grandchild: Madison Land.

Visitation will be 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Troy Alley officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.
