Olan Jans Johnson, 79, of Dexter, Missouri, formerly of Senath, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 17, at his home. He was born  April 27, 1945 in Senath, Missouri to Gilford and Ella Abernathy Johnson.

He is survived by a sister: Edna Cobb of Dresden, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gilford and Ella Johnson and brothers: Milford B. Johnson, Rev. Carlton Johnson, Rev. Odell Johnson and Gaylon Johnson.

He will be remembered for his wit and his musical talent.

Graveside services will be Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at McGrew Cemetery near Senath with Rev. James Jarrett officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service in Senath will be in charge of the arrangements.
