Nellie M. Allgood, daughter of the late Stanley Davis and Rintha Arlue (Weaver) Davis was born October 22, 1924 in Anderson, Arkansas and departed this life November 18, 2021 at the age of 97 years. Nellie married John Allgood May 1942 in Kennett, Missouri. John preceded Nellie in death.

Survivors include:

Son: John (Diane) Allgood of Batesville, Arkansas

Daughter: Vicki Masterson of Kennett, Missouri

Four grandchildren: Autumn Guthrie, Steven Allgood, Stuart Allgood and William Allgood

Four great grandchildren

Nellie was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Nellie was of Kennett, Missouri and a Charter member of Third Street Baptist Church in Kennett. Nellie was a volunteer at the Nutrition Center in Kennett for twenty years. She loved fishing, quilting, sewing, travel, music, games and sports. She went zip lining at the age of 90 years.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 22,2021 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Reverend Bud Evans officiating.  Honored to serve aa pallbearers: Stuart Allgood, Steven Allgood, William Allgood, Tim Davis, Odie Wake and Danny Poole. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to the Nutrition Center of Kennett, Missouri.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
