Nancy Carol Parker, daughter of the late Arvel and Katie (Taylor) Carnell was born March 23, 1947 in Medon, Tennessee, and departed this life August 28, 2024 at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett, Missouri. Nancy married Wincel Parker on September 1, 1962. She was a cosmetologist and loved woodworking, crocheting and sewing.

She is survived by:

Her husband: Wincel Parker of Kennett.

One son: Freddie Dewitt Parker (Brenda) of Williamsville, Missouri.

One daughter: Dana Branum (Nick) of Kennett.

One brother: Tony Carnell (Marcia) of Kennett.

Two sisters: Elizabeth Jane Jarrett of Kennett.

Sharon Montgomery (Joel) of Kennett.

One granddaughter: Katelyn Shearer (Chad) of Alabama.

Other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: Arvel, Kenneth, Edward and Phil Carnell.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Rev. David Carnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Mark Carnell, Steve Smith, Scott Jones, Roger Smith, Donnie Jones and Peyton Branum.
