Nancy Loretta (Godwin) Lowry, daughter of the late George Godwin and Lina Godwin, was born July 17, 1939, in South Carolina and departed this life on March 7, 2026, at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 18 days. Nancy married Raymond Lowry on  August 25, 1956 in Fort Smith, Virginia.

Three daughters: Pamela Lowry Marthinus of San Berdino, CA

Bonnie Lowry Segraves of Kennett

Three sisters; Delores Willis of Virginia Beach, VA

Carol May of Chesapeak, VA

Ellen  Terwilliger of Virginia Beach, VA

Grandchildren: Shelby and Ben Butler, Pamela (Pammy) Caballero, Lena, John McCain, Jackie Glaze, Jordyn Lowry, Kaitlyn Lowry, Kenisie Lowry, Brooke & Tucker Risner, Braelyn Jarred, Timmy Lowry, Tatum & Marcus Rigden and Whitney & Jacob Bradford.

Great grandchildren: Ava McCain, Paige Butler, Hailey Butler, Blayke & Walker Rigdon, Jackson & Kennedy Bradford, McCoy & Emersyn Risner. Stacy Lowry, Brittney Lowry,  Ryver & Ripp Lowry, Rhett Fry, Creed and Crue.

Other relatives and many friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by two sons: Robert "Bobby" Lowry and Raymond Edward "Eddie" Lowry, brother: James Godwin and two sisters: Lou Blankenship and Patricia Hathaway

Nancy had worked at NHC Heath Care for several years.

Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 pm Thursday, March 12, 2026 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at the  McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Reverend Doug Clinton officiating. Burial will follow in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Todd Thompson, Tucker Risner, Cory Seagraves, John McCain, Larry Jerod and Ben Butler.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
