Michael Eugene Damron, son of the late Paul Damron and Wilma (Jackson) Damron, was born December 17, 1946, in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on October 5, 2024 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 18 days.

Michael married Bonnie Grissom.

Michael was Chief of Police in Kennett for several years and served his country in the United States Air Force.

Daughter: Demetra (Richard) Lewis of Naylor, Mo.

Three grandchildren: Christopher (Amanda) Ray, Tabitha (David) Allen and Caleb Damron

Three great grandchildren: Kadence Allen, Makinley Allen and Ember Ray

Sister: Paula Batchelor of Kennett, Mo

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Graveside Services will be 1:00 pm at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett with Reverend Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
