Marye Lou Cole, age 83 of Kennett, Missouri, passed away March 2, 2023, at her residence in Kennett.

Marye Lou, daughter of the late Stanley Williams and Ruth (McDaniel) Williams, was born August 22, 1939, in Arbyrd, Missouri.

On August 1, 1959, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to James "Jingo" Cole.

Marye Lou and Jingo were owners of Porky's Restaurant in Kennett for 23 years. She was a very active volunteer at the Delta Fair for many years. She loved going thrifting or "junking" as she'd say, loved crossword puzzles, and reading. Marye Lou was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Kennett.

Survivors include:

Her husband: James "Jingo" Cole of Kennett;

Son: Britt Cole of Kennett;

Two daughters: Sandy (Harold) Mikel of Kennett;

Jennifer Cole of Columbia, Missouri;

Three grandchildren;

Three brothers: Jerry Williams of Gideon, Missouri;

Gary (Ruth Ann) Williams of Cuba, Missouri;

Billy (Jeanie) Williams of Bonne Terre, Missouri;

Other relatives and many friends.

Marye Lou was preceded in death by two brothers: Joe and Charles Williams and a sister: Brenda Tucker.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. March 31, 2023, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church in Kennett or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
